What is LifeTeen??Life Teen is an international Catholic movement that serves the Church by providing resources and faith experiences that help lead teens closer to Christ. This is accomplished through a vibrant Eucharistic spirituality and by creating widespread opportunities for teens to grow in their faith. The Life Teen program offers structure to a parish's youth ministry. Offering support, valuable resources, and trainings, the Life Teen Parish Ministries staff feeds and helps foster life into the constantly changing world, but keeping the views of the Church in its prime. By training thousands of youth ministers, priests, music ministers, CORE members, and parents in the Life Teen model of youth ministry, every element of a church shares the same vision. The Life Teen program was started at St. Pius X in 1997 and has continued strong ever since. In 2001 we held our first Southwest Youth Conference and had about 400 teens in attendence. Last year was our 5th year anniversary and we were please to have almost 1000 teens in attendence!! The Lord has truly had his hand over our ministry and we are sincerely thankful for it. We are always pleased to accept new memebers into our ministry and there is no need for application or anything of the sort to join.
